My congratulations to the folks doing this rebuild. Nothing like that within a 100 miles of here. Not all fun, no doubt, but so worthwhile and enduring.

I think I notice hydraulic jacks which must be used for the heavy lifting, since there is no crane runway for an overhead crane.

They're electric screw jacks, and not hydraulic. There are four of them that lifted the locomotive when it was time to set the drivers in place - two of which are visible in this photo.
