Nice job on the exposure and processing here, Tom. Viewers who have never tried this shot may not fully appreciate the degree of difficulty. Your camera location is very dark and the terrain is tricky to negotiate at night. You also don't have time for a lot of test shots as the train pauses only very briefly for the "Claus pick-up". There are also a number of elements that can intrude into the scene and you cannot control them. Oh, did I mention that it's always freezing cold?

OK, it's 3/4 but it's a GREAT 3/4. Elevation, the balance of the flashes (especially the backlight on the steam), and the depth of the scene are first rate. Can almost see OWL nodding his approval.
