It doesn't happen often these days, but once in a while there is a moment like this captured to see and experience the recent past once more. I hope the passengers of the Adirondack enjoyed this special opportunity. Oh, the picture is quite nice as well.

The ONLY "problem" is that all those good folks getting on a Saratoga will enjoy a ride just about long enough to get "nicely settled" into their seats before having to get up, de-train, and repeat the whole process over again at Albany. Actually, the cross-platform transfer at Albany was well orchestrated and seemed to take place very smoothly for the most part.
