You are correct, the derailment was caused by the GO units. They were passenger units, and their drawbars weren't designed for use in freight consists. As the train braked coming off the bridge over the 401, the slack was too much for the GO drawbars on the F59s and the lateral force derailed the train. Thanks Thomas, I thought that was it. Pretty lucky that the train ended up derailing here and not over the 401!
