Great scene and shot.

Brian, you're continuing to do a great service to the talents of Kenneth Field and all those of us who appreciate great railway photography. There's a footpath leading down from the cottages on the horizon that still offers splendid views of the railway here. Sadly, the usual motive power these days makes the journey barely worthwhile. Nice dog-walking country though!

Brian, I am in complete agreement with Steve on what you are doing. Thank you. I have looked carefully at each photo you have submitted and one thing stands out on all of them and that is: No weeds anywhere aroung the very well ballested tracks. In between the rails and , in between the rails, an, even, around the CPLs. I guarrantee you won't find that anyhwere in the USA these days. Sadly pride is taking a back seat to saving money most of the time. Keep the rest of Kenneth's photos coming they are a great joy to view.
