First double-header I've seen in pictures since the 1223/7002 main line excursions back in the 80s. Nice job capturing it, especially considering the challenging light.

I have a definite connection to the old steamers...my father hopped freights with me back when these old iron horses ran all the rails. That was when I was quite small, an event I can still remember. If I set my mind to a time back then, I can still remember the clackity-clack of the wheels going over the rails, one of my very favorite sounds in the whole world is the forelorn, lonesome wail of the steam whistle off in the distance. You said you were going to have some good ones, and you were right. Thank you for sharing your pictures Mitch.
