Will it be restored to fully operational or just cosmetically rejuvinated?

The restoration will be back to the condition the engine was in before the damage caused by the roof collapse - cosmetic. I would assume there has never been a discussion in regards to a restoration to operation as the Museum already has four operable engines but only 4.5 miles of track.

Stunning photo, Mitch. I personally like the tinted brownish color the shop doors give off. Makes the photo look older than it really is. Without the heavily damaged cab, it reminds you of the last pictures of revenue class 1 steam.
