They sure chose the right name when they decided to call it the Grand Concourse restaurant. I can’t get enough of these magnificent old stations. The “grandness” of this beautiful structure is captured nicely in this shot.

Had the pleasure of dining here in July 2005. It was at the tail end of a vacation to the Potomac Eagle in W Va, Sandpatch and Altoona and the West Slope. The food was excellent as was the wait staff. After a long day the local Sandcastles Water park, our waitress suggested a micro brew ale that absolutely 100% complemented my meal. It's the only time I felt compelled to do so and thus left a 25% tip. She more than earned it. Don't pass up this gem if the opportunity presents itself. The building is just as photogenic outside with the P&LE still very dominant in the stone facade.

Reminds me so very much of the restaurant (can't remember the correct name) in the former Lackawanna Station in Scranton, only "GRANDER." PS: the food at Scranton is ALSO EXCELLENT. It would be worth a trip to Pittsburgh just to see the stained glass work.
