Positively reeking of class! It is so great that the "Hickory Creek," the observation car of the greatest passenger train of all time, still rolls. Thanks for the view George.

George, I recall riding the combined Pacemaker New England States Express in 1963. My dad took me on a trip with him. to Pittsburgh the hard way. I woke up as we stopped at Buffalo where I observed both the Twentieth Century Limited and Commodore Vanderbilt arriving side by side. Both had these Observation cars on the rear end. At the time they were actually combimed trains yet one had all sleepers.
