The beauty of a wooden tresstle. The tonnage and passengers they supported all those years. I hope efforts are made to preserve many of these engineering marvels. Like I said before. No calculator, no computer and no slide rule. Back before calculations of weight disburstment and distribution were precise or even used. I would have loved to have designed back then.

Great to see a fine shot of this line. The Camas Prairie was just a little too far west for my annual two-week photo expeditions.

Great shot of Bridge 17! This was one I did not walk across on my bike trip/photo survey a few weeks ago. Sadly it's no longer in use, since Bridge 21.3—further up the canyon—was destroyed by fire following a lightning storm.
