Ah! One of the perks of being a NS employee....you can climb the signal tower and not get in trouble! Very nice shot.

I was wondering what angle was to be had on the Eastbound trip - very nice, and a quick upload /update as well! Great job and many thanks to NS in bringing live steam back to the Curve - first time since Reading #2102 nearly 27 years to this day, Aug 27th, 1985. Prior to that, May 22nd, 1977 with both Reading #2102 & GTW #4070 and no diesels.

Surely this is the only image ever created from this angle. It is certainly the only one I have ever seen. Well done!

NKP 759 ran on the Horseshoe Curve in August 1970 without diesel assistant.

A grand photo, in the class of all the other steam photos taken over the years on the Curve . Thanks.

Now let's see who has the stones to try this any other day of the year! Definitely one of my favorite Nickel Plate 765 shots from this year's events so far, it's just too bad that the vegetation along the inside of the curve has allowed to get this out of hand again.

Greetings from COSTA RICA... Why seems to be always necessary a diesel asistant... It makes look the train ugly.
