Yeh, that's the Townline Tunnel with one of the widest railroad cuttings in the world. I was here in 2006 but, unfortunately, didn't see a train, so thanks for posting.

When it was built there were three tracks: the closest was CN, the other two Penn Central/TH&B. The signal gantry in the foreground held the distant signals for the junction a mile to the east where the lines split off to Niagara Falls and Fort Erie/Buffalo. The TH&B ran passenger service through here from Toronto to Buffalo until 1980. The railway lines in this area are but a shadow of what used to be in the 1970s.

I guess the only way to top it would be to have a big great lake ship going by in the background. Nice to see an all "fallen flag" lash-up.

As luck would have it, a ship passed by about 5 mins before this shot was taken.
