Great scene and some classic ALCO's! We have seen alot from the desert of Chile but this is totally new, thanks for sharing.

Is that flat car placed between the two engines to release some stress on bridges when they cross them, or is there another reason? Nice picture and indeed very unlike most other pictures from Chile and Peru here on RP.net!

Ernst, that plane car is for separating the engines, but it can maintain the connection in multiple. This is to reduce axle weight because weight restrictions that has the Bio-Bio railway bridge. Cheers!
