It was a charter train organised by RailAway to bring people from Zürich to the weekly market in Luino. Since when it has been recently restored, this is its first trip to Italy (the second trip at all: the previous one was at the beginning of last June, a charter train organised by HAG, from St. Gallen to Vevey) Tha trainset is named RAe 1053. A good picture of this wonderful train: Thank You!

The TEE made a public trip to the weekly market in Luino, Italy. The train, owned by SBB Historic, is no longer allowed to run over foreign tracks. However, it was possible to take the SBB-line to Luino, just next to the border.
