According to a source at BNSF, as of 7-18, the two NS units are now the sole power on this train! The train is heading to Laurel, Montana. (Great shot, too. The state welcome sign nails how far west these two have wandered.)

Well, there you have it folks. Sorry to my brethren in Pennsylvania and Jersey, but I'm afraid my fear has already been realized: now that the NS heritage units are being pooled out west, we're gonna play heck to ever see them on home rails again. It would have been nice to see the Reading unit in Pennsylvania before it was sent everywhere else.
