Gorgeous shot, Mike! As others have pointed out, pulling this off without flares or other sun-related issues took some serious skill. I wish they still did this shot.....

Thanks for the nice comments guys! I’m thinking that not getting any lens flare is probably due to this being shot with a prime 24mm, and it was on Fujichrome Provia 100F. It seems a lot easier to blow out the highlights with digital, and I know I would get some sort of lens flares with the L series Canon zooms I now use.
