Posted by Bill Caywood on June 30, 2012  To those who are not aware of the railfan name of this New York Central paint scheme. It was called the"Cigar Band" scheme, named after the logo that was wrapped around a new cigar. It looked best when on EMD, Alco and Baldwin round nosed diesels.
