These things were as powerful as two GG1s, and were every bit as noisy as an EP5, but oh, could they pull. 605 was heavily rebuilt in an effort to get something out of the E60s. The effort didn't cure their ability to pop rail joints, split/pick switches and burn rails. This shot shows what they were about, pulling a long, heavy train as though it was no big deal.
