Great story, with such a personal touch ... nicely done, the project and the photograph.

Very nice, I love that Zack's shirt matches the locomotive that he is photographing. Might I suggest that when he out grows the shirt, that you have it and this photo framed as a keepsake for him. Very nice work sir.

Nice shot. Who knows, perhaps Zack will be railfanning there in, say 2042 and photograph his son at the same spot.

Great story behind the shot. Really does have that personal touch

What a cool story. And a unique one - can't imagine there's another kid in the country with a railroad signal named after him. Good work Dad!
|
Nice work dad! If in the future you need another name.......'Jeff' would be ok with me for obvious reasons! All kidding aside, this is a great story.
|
Great shot and sotry behind it! Looking at that box though, I hope Zack's signs don't hit the ground before too long!

What a great story and tribute to Zack, Rich. I'm sure Zack will appreciate this for many years to come.

Zack needs to paint his cabinet.

Holy cow! I showed this to my mom and she though your son was me! I looked almost exactly like that when I was around 5! Curly red hair and a love with trains. I am now 15 and my love for trains is still strong! Its cool how you had the CP named after your son, and nice photo!

Really Cool Rich! And some day a historian will be tracing this line and trying to figure out why this location is named "ZACK". Just too cool.

Nobody has done this for me (I am sure there is a control point out there named "CP Nathan" somewhere on one of our Class 1 railways) but if I could name a control point "CP Nathan" it would have be on UP or BNSF :-)
