Joe, thanks for posting all this great stuff. If the war bonnet looked good on an F-unit it looked fantastic on the Es. Too bad they were so few.

This is beautiful! This is in my opinion, the most famous and the most beautiful paint scheme to ever be put on a locomotive. Although my favorite railroad of all time is the Southern Pacific, the ATSF had the most beautiful looking E and F units. Fantastic photo!
