Very true. This train travels this section just before noon and the sun is at its peak temperature this time of the year often crosses 40*C (104*F) and glare is tremendous. It is also true that the EMD locos have less forward visibility when running LHF, but except for a 50M long triangle in front of the loco either the LP or the ALP can see the rest. Rahul
