Outstanding....keep them coming!!

Terrific stuff! I just hope no one was in the cab! :-)
Great shot! She is a beautiful thing!
NS is really doing a terrific job with getting all the details right on their heritage locomotives. Its a beautiful shot until you see the rusty front coupler
Ah, nothing like fresh paint being coated with fresh rain
Awesome shot to debut this unit Casey! Hoping to see this on the point of a P-Line train in the near future!

The lightning adds a nice touch. "It's alive!"
Beautiful! Another home run shot, Casey! It seems like each time you release a new paint shot, it just gets better and better. Are we foamers gonna have any adrenaline left after the last one is released?? :)
Looks like I might have to make a trip down South this year.
A big thanks to Norfolk Southern, you guys are a real class act.

The most colorful one so far! Great work Norfolk Southern!
This is the best!
You can't beat that! The fellas at Chattanooga have done a fantastic job once again!
Looks like a Robert West painting! Great job!
Well played NS !
A last minute "charge" before leaving the factory!

Now that's a true LIGHTENING PAINT SCHEME!!!
Wow. Thats a good lookin engine. Way to go Norfolk Southern.
This NS Heritage Unit is sure one "Electronically Charged" unit getting the highest juice available to get her career started. Amazing Shot!
To Chad: ALL new couplers are rusty. It's a Federal violation to paint them, as it prevents inspectors from finding cracks. Note that the wheels are unpainted as well. Same reason. See also: http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.php?id=258576&nseq=5
Beautiful locomotive, BTW.

I canĀ“t close my mouth. Stunning!
Shocking!
Wow! Casey Thomason is one lucky guy! Awesome shots!
This just keeps getting better and better!! At this rate I may try dusting off the cameras that I stuck on the shelf with the end of Kodachrome, or have my Wife/Kids try to teach me how to run one of those digital things and head for West Virginia. Thanks NS/N&W for doing a great job on the heritage units and being a great company to have owned shares in for the last 35 years!
Oh my....this is simply breathtaking...the paint and the photo. Nicely done NS....nicely done Casey!
NS and Casey: using a baseball term, you guys went yard again. When's the next heritage unit due out? My heart needs time to stop fluttering. Love it.
Thanks again NS for the great effort ... it is truly appreciated.
Having ridden "The Man of War" many years ago, behind Central of Georgia E-8s that wore this paint scheme. This brings back many fond memories. I want to give many thanks to all Norfolk Southern people involved in the Heritage Project, Job Well Done !
Thanks Mark, never knew that. As a sidenote I say the next Heritage Unit that is finished will be the Original Norfolk Southern or Norfolk Western
Love this picture. From a weather buff side, capturing the lightning bolt makes this picture more intriguing. Great Job!!!!
This one stings me in my heart. The bolt of lighting hitting Missionary Ridge is a true rep of Chattanooga. It doesn't get much better than this. We had one Hell of a good crew painting locomotives when I was there. Looks likes we still do!!
