Great photo. Only shame is the quality of paint now used on the engines. The older ones look better than the brand new one!!

More than likely most of these SD40-2's sitting in storage will be used in the SD40N rebuild, also known as Life Extension Program at NLR. I'm sure the next time these units are on the move is to that large UP shop complex in Arkansas.
