Nice shot, Joe. Here is some background information on BNSF 1572.
BNSF SD40-2R 1572 converted in October 2008 from SD45-2 BNSF 6468 (ex-ATSF 5818, ex-ATSF 7218, nee-ATSF 5682). The 20-645E3 prime mover replaced with 16-645E3B prime mover and classified as SD40-2R dropping the horsepower rating from 3600 to 3000 giving the converted unit SD40-2 specifications.
