Actually, the locomotive was coincidentally involved - it was in fact driver error that killed them... Posted by Evan Locke on February 7, 2012  To jeff Swanson... No error except pure stupidity, those kids went around the gates..knowing there was a train comming..but they didn't want to wait for it... But unless he made an intentional act to commit suicide (which I highly doubt) as opposed to showing off for his passengers (more than likely), the driver still made a fatal error.
