Please note the "Changing of the Guard" as applied to the R.J. Corman wreck moving equipment. The side boom Pipe Laying Tractor on the left side of this photo is a Caterpillar 572c cable operated machine, which has been the machine of choice for many years. The side boom Pipe Laying Tractor on the right side of the photo is a John Deere 850j hydraulic operated machine, which is now the new machine of choice as Mr. Corman continues to modernize his Heavy Lifting equipment. This change away from clutch activated machines, and to hydraulic activated machines mirrors the same change recently seen in construction cranes and other construction machinery.
