I like this shot. Yes, the colors are a bit bizarre, but using available light has its drawbacks. But, Valley C420s are an automatic favorite for me.

The scan was actually less contrasty, but very much redder, due to the daylight type Kodachrome used. I'd like to hear some pros and cons about correcting color temperature or not.

miningcamper... When I first viewed your image, it felt very natural to me; like I was there and looking down on those fine-looking Yellowjackets! My personal opinion (and I'm sure not everyone will agree) is you did an outstanding job with this scan. I think the color temperature is just fine and shouldn't be "messed with" any further. By the way, please allow me to welcome you aboard RailPictures.Net! I like the era of images you're posting (it takes me back to my youth!) and I look forward to seeing more classics from you in the future.
