Am I the only one who seems amazed at the fact the rails (in the foreground) look like those on what normally a railfan might assume was a 5-carload-a-week branch line trying to avoid the "petition for abandonment" axe rather than a route which just saw a ONE-HUNDRED-FIFTEEN CAR TRAIN with 2 DPUs?

In correlation to jack's comment, they are manned units pushing on the rear of the 115 car train. Anyways, John a great photo you have posted here. The exhaust from the diesels working hard adds a great effect to the photo in my personal opinion. Can't beat the view they have either, but as every else has said, 115 cars on that kind of trackage? remarkable at best said.
