Whoa! A 3 minute photo charter! Very nice. Never saw the Big Boy looking so at "home" and ready to roll.

Mix steam, snow, backlight and B&W, stir well, and you've got the makings of a very pleasing photo. Nice catch, Dennis!

Well done. Perfect use of backlighting, great composition, a bit of human interest, and a beautiful locomotive (unfortunately as cold as the scene).

Too bad there is not a plume rising from #4012, but at least it is there and not part of a guardrail on a highway in Utah. I really like the back lighting and the vintage B&W look.

Dennis, I coud tell from the thumbnail that this was a winner. Beautiful composition and lighting to create a very classic scene that is genuine and not posed. Great job and PCA from me.

Now this is great photography. The only pictures i enjoy are the ones that evoke emotion, and this is one of them. Well done sir!
