Great photo! Amazing how great freshly painted units look, particularly when it is a railroad no longer with us. To answer the question in your remark, no, there would not have been DPUs on this train. In 1992, BN was still running manned helpers on southbound coal loads out of Denver. DPUs were still a good 8-10 years away.
