Ahhhhh yes! The good old Helper 'gang of four' on the LJP45 local. It was a slow evolution from SP to UP in this Rio Grande haven after the merger. My all time favorite show was the westbound coal trains out of Helper with SEVEN Rio Grande tunnel motors cut in as swing helpers. 'Twas a sight and sound embedded in my psyche forever.
