What more could be said. A true tome gone by, but what a perfect capture. Really miss those old cabs, miss seeing what was such a routine event then Done with out the high vis. vests with really friendly train crews who understood or even appreciated someone being fascinated with their job. A far cry from what modern railroading has become.

Old School indeed! Watching a brakeman using hand signals to bring a CofG 40-footer back to a coupling with a C&O cab is very, very cool! He's just an instant from dropping his arms to swing a "stop" to the head end.
