I've seen Pentrex video of this train and the staff and volunteers tend to "toss" and "throw" the gifts into the crowd creating a kind of "free-for-all" mad grab for the boxes, and I often wonder how many folks go away from this "event" empty handed, disappointed, and maybe even heartbroken? I mean a couple of these folks might struggle to put food on the table sometimes, and this might be their only chance to get their kid something for Christmas!
