Posted by Matthew Harrell on October 18, 2011  According to the www.altoonaworks.info website, NS' GP22ECO's are good for 2200 HP, but have been derated to 2000 HP. This particular locomotive started life as N&W GP38AC 4117. The rebuild date is listed as 10/2011. This was one of the unit's first shakedown runs out of Altoona.
