The new paint scheme looks great especially having Ontario Northland spelled out in full. The white Forward Chevron looks good. The stylized rivers of the North has been retained as well. Outstanding!

Thanks for the comment, Raymond. They did do a good job of it but it's still only my second-favorite Ontario Northland locomotive, as 1805 in the old chevron scheme rules! A bunch of us railfans on the ONR shops tour back in March tried to convince anyone and everyone who's ears we could grab that whenever they had to repaint the next unit, to do it the same as 1805, but I guess they still felt a need to go with a new brand image. Shame, with so many other railroads these days seeing the marketing value of "heritage" schemes one would think these folks could also. If they ever have to repaint 1805, and they do it in this scheme or any other scheme than what it presently wears, I feel it would be almost sacreligious!

The older scheme on 1805 is my favorite also but this looks real nice. Big improvement over O.N. Rail

Thanks for sharing. I favor this scheme over the former as well. Another location for my to do list. Keep up the good work.
