Great p.r. for Amtrak.......... A damaged unit right there in full sight at a major passenger station, then hauled across the country on its premier passenger train.

Funny, I asked my wife what she thought of the pic....first thing she said was "What did it hit?". More importantly, second thing she said was after I told her a semi, she said "Compared to some of the pics you've (myself) showed me, looks like it held up really good." I kinda feel that's more important....seeing that the crew compartment is relatively unharmed. I think we see a fender bender on the highway with some guys front end pushed in, we don't consider that to be no where near as bad is if we saw a car with the roof crushed in. As far as the PR side, its less important to me but you are correct as there are people that will undoubtedly look at it only that way. They prob should have at least covered up the front nose in shrink wrap which would also protect it en-route to Beech Grove.
