A St. Louis area railfan did purchase the interlocking machine and plans to use the parts to assist in the restoration of another tower. Ridgely will live on as sort of an "organ and tissue" donor. Just as a side note, although GRS manufactured this particular 32-lever interlocking machine, it was actually built under license using a Saxby & Farmer design.
