Such as sad outcome for a device like this....a railfan or rail museum would love to get their hands on an item like this.

This is very educational on how they go together, yet so sad.

A St. Louis area railfan did purchase the interlocking machine and plans to use the parts to assist in the restoration of another tower. Ridgely will live on as sort of an "organ and tissue" donor.
Just as a side note, although GRS manufactured this particular 32-lever interlocking machine, it was actually built under license using a Saxby & Farmer design.
