Not to be rude George, but I am not even certain this is Point of Rocks and if it its in Maryland. On another note yes we have returned from our six day vacation in this area and it was hot and 90-100 plus the entire trip. Well done picture.

This is just east of the MD Route 28 road crossing at the east end of Point of Rocks, just east of the Satterwhite interlocking/connection installed for MARC's service to Frederick, MD.

As CSXlover points out, Point of Rocks is definitely in Maryland; my error in not changing the state name after my previous submission! Further details in my earlier comment.
