Double K5's all forward....WOW.....haven't seen double 5 chimes since the Western Maryland or the Brucester's doubles fives on the Milwaukee 32A and 35A!

As I understand it, the trains are required to perform tests before heading out in the morning to ensure that the horns are in working order. Some municipalities where the trains are kept have ordinances requiring noise at odd hours to be kept below a certain level, and the trains can't perform these tests without violating the ordinances. In order to comply with both the ordinance and the regulation, a redundant set of horns is provided.

But yeah, I'd love to hear them both at once!
