If this is the "Monster" GE center cab locomotive with truck mounted couplers. Then the "Mouse" GE center cab locomotive with truck mounted couplers, is located at the Maine Narrow Gauge Railroad Museum in Portland, Maine. Their "two foot" gauge GE center cab locomotive, first operated on a Pineapple Plantation in the state of Hawaii. It is so small that when I visited there, I was able to get a "cab ride" that requires an *. It's cab is simply not wide enough for more than one person, however I was allowed to stand on the walkway and talk to the engineer through the cab's only door or through the side window. The pilots have the steps and hand railings that allow boarding, but there is a step up when going from one of the pilots to the actual frame of the locomotive. While riding there is a strange feeling when one sees the front platform and hand railings start to shift sideways as the front truck starts to enter a curve in the track. This locomotive is MNG #1 and is a GE 23 ton. To see it please go to RailPictures photo ID#32907.
