Is this a tourist train? A museum? Or what? So sad.

I'd like to know just how strong the wind was to be able to knock over a train. If it was narrow gauge it might be easier.

It was a tourist train with about 150 persons on board. It seems that these derailment due to strong wind are not exceptional. We have seen some pictures in El Maiten museum. The next day the local press annouced that the wind blew around 72 miles (116 km/h) . This can be more sensible on a narow gauge line.

This train is called "Viejo Expreso Patagonico " , but popularly is known it like " La Trochita" by its narrow trail (0.75 mts.). - The locomotive is a Baldwin of year 1922, done in the USA. The derailment was by the wind and terrible maintenance of the ways. It is a tourist train.
