Great shot Steve.This was the last steam operated branch line in th UK.Its last claim to fame was running the last MK1 stock in the UK.It is now run by a class 158 Diesel unit.

Nice photo showing the nicely dressed workers in action. The worker on the ground even appears to have a cigarette in his left hand as he grabs the package from the worker in the locomotive.

Excellent capture of of a long gone procedure. Or is it long gone? Recently, for the first time, I saw a similar token in use on the Romeny, does that count? :-) I also like how the railway thoughtfully provided the safety rail for the signalman to lean on.
