Longer than an F9 which would have ended at the back door. I believe the extra feet is were the transformer was. Nice roster shot John.

I fondly remember riding behind these classic units on trains from ALB to NYP when I was a kid. If only I hadn't been so young that I wasn't able to capture good photos while they were still in service...
