Stanley, I have greatly enjoyed your stuff and this is sort of a general comment. The NF&D is particularly interesting. I never managed to catch them out on the road. This consist is really a wild one.

Indeed you are right Sid.The N.F.& D. was a hard catch. I only caught one train on the line before they took up the tracks in the early 80's. It was lead by a NW geep. There are still a few reminders of this once great road left around. The station from Clarksville,VA is now a steakhouse in my hometown of Roxboro,NC. Stanley,thank you for your post and your efforts to keep history alive.Please keep it up.
