My FIRST thought on seeing this photo is the almost incredible degree to which it looks like someplace along the former Southern Pacific's "Shasta Route" in the mountains of northern California or western Oregon. The forested mountains, the damp gray, low-hanging fog and even the style and colors of depot building are amazingly similar. I have been to parts of Peru, but was never aware there is such a lush and green area like this. THANK you for sharing with us here in the chilly north.
