Smith, Jr. on February 21, 2011  It may be an optical illusion, but the windshied glass on the 6900 looks to be less tall than that of the current GE and EMD locomotive models, and it seems to me any new-design cab-glazing should have matched one of those two, just to simplify the parts inventory.
