I found out that this unit was coming through my hometown within 20-30 minutes after it did. Boy! was I kicking myself.

Looks like it recently ran through a big box of tomatoes.

Of course what with living along UP's ex-MoPac tracks along the Missouri River I have no partiality whatsoever to this particular loco and its great adventures.

Great catch Andrew. As a New Yorker, I would have loved to have seen this one. Nice light and and nice sense-of-place composition.
