Cold like this means that when taking night photos one has to be very careful and know the hazards involved. I just love the shine on the leader. All of us love photos of motive power plowing snow. With that said, notice that as seen from this camera angle, the height of the bottom of the plow and the fuel tank are a considerable distance above the rail head. This means that when the plow is throwing snow, the snow is very deep ! Thanks for posting these night shots Tim.
