Are you sure about those age numbers? According to Jerry Pinkepank's The second diesel spotter's guide, 1983 edition, GP28 were built starting March 1964; GP38 were built starting January 1966; GP39 were built starting January 1969; GP40 were built starting November 1965. I was born in 1963 and I'm only 47. Unless 1514 was rebuilt from something pre-GP18, which are listed as 12/59 to 11/63, it's a real trick for something built after I was born to be seven yeas older than I am.

I'm as sure as I can be with the info I found online. Both units are in fact rebuilds with BNSF 1514 being built as NP 307 (GP9) and BNSF 2751 being built as SOU 2585 (GP30)...
