Very nice shot Phil. I don't recall ever seeing a photo on this branch with cabooses behind the loco, except on special passenger workings, where extra crews were required. Most regular workings were "cross-trippers". So I can't answer your query, but I'll find out from a "Zimbo" for you!

Hi Phil, according to a reliable source on all things Zim, these cabooses were in regular service for carrying crews and not for carrying water, bottled or otherwise!
